Our lesson for today includes two steps:

A.
Lesson Objectives:
This
is a great outdoor or indoor activity to develop your jumping, hopping and
leaping skills!
B.
Materials Needed:
●
Rope
C.
Game Rules:
The goal of this game is to try and jump over the 'snake'
without getting caught!
Stretch out the boat rope with one leader holding either
end. Together the leaders move the rope back and forth to resemble a snake.
Children try and jump over the quickly moving snake without getting caught!
D.
Safety Considerations:
Wear
your shoes before starting the activity.
E. Progression
(optional):
Try
to raise the rope higher in the air and have the children jump up to try to
give Mr. Snakey a high five. Try to raise the rope at waist level and have the
children limbo or crawl to get under Mr. Snakey.
F.

A. Lesson objectives:

To improve your
manipulative movement and locomotor skills.

To follow a set of simple
and effective physical activities to get active.
B.
Equipment: 5 toys or any other objects.
How to play:
Are you ready for the “Running Challenge”?
Get 5 objects and put them at one side of the room/garden.
Take them 1 at a time, running as fast as you can to the other side. See how
quick you can do it! Try to beat your own score the next time.
C. Instructions:

Hello Boys and Girls!
Let’s start our new week with a fun activity that you can do
at home.
Our lesson is divided into two steps:
Step 1: Stretching
exercises with me and my son
Step 2: Play the “4
spot exercise” game
Please follow the lesson plan below:
A.
Lesson objectives:
Stretching
exercises improve flexibility, which increases the ability of our joints to
move through their full range of motion.
Better
flexibility may also improve your performance in physical activities.
Decreasing the risk of injuries.
B.
Materials needed:
For the “4
spot exercise” game:
Four paper
plates/ paper sheets marked with numbers from 1 to 4.
C. Game
rules:
“4 spot
exercise” game:
1-
Place
the paper plates/papers on the floor making a square with 4 numbers (from 1 to
4)
2-
Each
number indicates a specific exercise as follows:
1. Jumping Jacks
2. Ski Jumps (or jump side to side)
3. Quick Feet
4. Silly but safe dance movements
Tree Pose in the middle of the square
3- Watch

movements.

Lesson 8
Hello Pre-KA!
At the beginning of this lesson, we are going to do a Fun Animal Song for Kids, and after
that, we will play a lovely game that we learned together at school, called the
“The Floor is Lava”.
Please follow the lesson plan as below:
A. Lesson objectives:
●
To improve coordination,
flexibility, muscle tone and strength.
●
To improve your
manipulative movements and locomotor skills.
●
To follow a set of simple
and effective physical activities to get active.
Equipment: Pillows, stuffed animals, cushions, towels,
etc.
How to play:
Lava has taken over the floor of your house. Start on one
side of the room or on a piece of furniture. Use objects around your house to
move across the room to another piece of furniture without falling into the
lava. If you fall in, start over and try again. Objects to use pillows, stuffed
animals, cushions, towels, etc.
Level 2: Try to touch each wall of the room
Level 3: Try to travel into and out of different rooms of
your house
Level 4: Time yourself or siblings to see who can get across
the fastest
Level 5: Try to cross using the fewest amount of objects
B. Instructions:

It’s a new week with lots of new activities for you!
Let’s start our lesson with a warm-up song. We did this warm up in the gym before. Listen to the
music and follow the instructions.

Find
2 objects to throw: a rolled-up pair of socks,
or small stuffed animals are good replacements if you don’t have a ball

Find
2 containers to throw into: pots, large bowls,
or small baskets

Place
the container at a starting point, make an underhand toss toward the container. If you make it, move it farther away and return to
the throwing spot and toss again. Try to get your
container moved to the other side of the room first or with the fewest tosses.

We are going to do a Kung
Fu warm-up (Beginner Warm Up and Stance Practice)
and a fun game called Toss
and catch scarves.
Please follow the lesson plan below:
A. Lesson objectives:

Kung
Fu training has excellent benefits. Children
can develop strength, coordination, balance and flexibility. They can also
improve their ability to concentrate, maintain focus and follow instructions.
●
Tossing and catching
scarves is a fun and safe way for you to practice the gross motor skills of
throwing and catching.
●
The objective is eye-hand
coordination, and correct timing for catching the scarves.
B. Instructions:
For the game: You will need scarves. If you don’t have
scarves, you can use any other material like a piece of textile or tissues.
